New paradigm proposed for Lodge

More than 100 people attended three community briefings held in Stroud in October 2016 to unveil plans that will help ensure the continuation of aged care services by the Stroud Community Lodge for another 25 years.

Those attending were informed of the lodge’s two-stage plan to respond to the Federal Government’s February 2017 plans to deregulate the aged care sector.

Lodge Chairman Rod Williams said “The lodge’s new paradigm captures opportunities opening up next year as a result of plans to deregulate the home care market. Expanding into the provision of home care services for the Stroud district presents a natural way to grow our business.”

The briefings were delivered to residents, families, staff, Lodge members and the Stroud community.
